The 2013 Chevy Volt is Expected to Arrive in Glendale Heights This Year 2012 Chevy Volt

Sunrise Chevrolet is happy to announce the upcoming arrival of the 2013 Chevy Volt in Glendale Heights, Bloomingdale, Schaumburg, and Glen Ellyn. Drivers who are looking for a hybrid car that’s attractive, powerful, and eco-friendly all at the same time love the current Chevy Volt, and we expect that the all-new 2013 model will continue in this tradition. While no official release date has been announced, we do know that Chevrolet intends to come out with a five-door sedan option, a first for this model line. Otherwise, drivers can expect to see many of the same features that they love in the 2012 Volt, plus a few new additions and modifications.

Expected 2013 Chevy Volt Features

Equipped with a 1.4L inline four-cylinder combustion engine that get 89 hp and an electric drive unit that gets 149 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque, the Chevy Volt is an eco-friendly vehicle that can be plugged into a regular household AC outlet and charged up within 10 hours. A full charge gives you about 35 miles of emissions-free driving. Since most people carry out day-to-day errands within a 35 mile range, the Volt allows drivers to save quite a bit on gas each month. If the charge runs out while driving long distances and you don’t have the opportunity to charge up right away, you can always fill up the car with gas like normal.

Safety features include standard driver and passenger airbags, thorax side impact airbags, and head-curtain side-impact front and rear airbags for complete protection of all occupants in the event of a collision. The car is also equipped with OnStar Automatic Crash Response, OnStar Emergency Services, Crisis Assist, and Stolen Vehicle Assistance for extra peace of mind.

A premium sound system and navigation system are offered as available upgrades. While no official pricing has been announced, expect the 2013 Chevy Volt to sell for a starting price of around $31,645.
